Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They are stored in your browser and allow the site to recognise you and to remember your preferences or your login status on later visits.
In addition to classic cookies, we also use similar techniques such as localStorage and sessionStorage (local storage in the browser), which work in a similar way but are not sent to the server with every request.
These cookies are essential for the Platform to work and cannot be turned off. Without them, the services you have requested cannot be provided.

The Platform does not currently use external web analytics services (such as Google Analytics). Internal statistics are calculated exclusively from data stored in our own database, without using third-party tracking cookies.
The Platform does not and will not use behavioural advertising or retargeting cookies.
When you watch YouTube videos embedded on the platform (in the chat sections), YouTube may place its own cookies on your device. These cookies are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube videos are displayed only after you explicitly click on the preview image, thereby minimising involuntary tracking.
On your first visit to the Platform, you are shown a cookie banner through which you can choose to accept all cookies or only the strictly necessary ones. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking the necessary cookies will affect how the platform works (you will not be able to stay logged in). Instructions for the main browsers:
5.1. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent and are always active to ensure that authentication and platform security work.
5.2. Functional and analytics cookies require your explicit consent, which we ask for through the banner shown on your first visit.
5.3. You can withdraw your consent at any time without negative consequences, except that some convenience features will be turned off. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
